In view of the road mishaps taking place on killer roads of mountainous districts of Kishtwar, Doda and Ramban of Jammu division for the past several decades, ghost of death continues to haunt those travelling on them.Four persons died while one person sustained severe injuries when an Alto car in which they were travelling met with a tragic road accident on Doda Gath road near Satsang ghar Kashore , Doda here today evening . As per reports, an Alto car A/F , which was on its way from Doda to Mohalla area met with an accident after driver of the vehicle lost his control over his vehicle and fell into gorge on the bank of river Chenab resulting into on spot death of four persons.As soon as the accident took place, large number of people along with Police rushed to the spot immediately and started rescue operation.The two deceased were identified as Bashir Ahmed Shah , (44), son of Feroz Din Shah , Fatima Begum 37 w/o Bashir Ahmed Shah, Zia Bashir 14 s/o Bashir Ahmed Shah and Shaika Bano d/o Bashir Ahmed Shah all residents of Shiva Asthan ,tehsil Mohalla Doda.The injured was identified as Nelofar d/o Bashir Ahmed Shah 19 who was rescued from the gorge was shifted to District Hospital Doda where from he was referred to GMC Jammu for specialized treatment.Meanwhile, Member Legislative Assembly Doda Shakti Raj Parihar have expressed their grief and sorrow over the loss of precious life in this road accident and assured all possible help to affected family.
